The Governor’s Lodge : Self Catering Accommodation
The Governor’s Lodge, so-called from the time it was used by the Governor’s guard, is situated to the left of the Clock Tower and dates from the same period. This delightful two-storey building can accommodate up to four people and has recently been completely refurbished and newly furnished. It has attained a Northern Ireland Tourist Board 4 star rating, and is fully approved.
The ground floor has a small entrance porch leading into the hall. To the left of the hall is a spacious dining room with pine furniture, charming wildlife pictures, wood burning stove and airing cupboard. A modern, compact fully equipped kitchen leads directly off the dining room and includes an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine/drier The comfortable living room is situated to the right of the hall and has an open fire, television with digital viewing and DVD player.
On the first floor are two twin bedrooms, one with an adjoining bathroom, the bath with power shower attachment, the second with an en suite shower room with power shower. The outlook is over unspoilt parkland with a lawn in front for relaxing outdoors. O.F.C.H. throughout.
